Assessment and Guidance
Tutorial Support
Grace Academy Sixth Form offers the support and encouragement that are essential to gaining success during the transition to post 16 studies and during examination periods.

Students will find that subject tutors are well qualified and offer high quality tuition and guidance throughout the duration of the course. Our personal tutors offer academic and personal support to each student during a demanding period of his or her life. Tutor groups in Year 13 and 12 meet daily and individual tutorials can also be negotiated and personal appointments made with personal tutors.

Recording Performance
Each term Grace Academy has a STAR Day. Each Sixth Form student has an appointment with their personal tutor and receives a summary report based on attainment and effort. Parents are also welcome to attend the meeting. These days allow students to review their own learning in discussion with their personal tutor and set themselves targets for the term.

Parental Contact
Here at Grace Academy the team of Sixth Form teachers seek to work in partnership with students and parents. A close relationship with parents is very important and necessary if the student is to succeed. Parents are welcome to attend the STAR Days with the student and benefit from the feedback that is given by the personal tutor. Additionally a consultation evening for parents and students is held during the spring term in which a full annual report is issued. Parents are also welcome to contact the Academy at anytime if they wish to discuss a matter of particular concern.

Record of Achievement
All students in the Sixth Form build on their Year 11 Progress File and collect further evidence to support job and university applications.
