Our business style Academy uniform will be worn by students at all times. It fulfils three important functions; It gives the Academy a clear identity and represents a simple but effective statement of our pride and sense of community. It also avoids any stigma or competition between individuals that can occur all too easily because of designer clothes and fashion trends.

Our uniform consists of the following items:

Blazers:	Black Grace Academy Jacket.
Shirt:	Plain white cotton shirts with a top button that fastens (no polo-shirts or fashion blouses).
Ties:	Purple Grace Academy tie with GA logo on display below the knot.
Pullovers:	Plain black V-neck – optional (no sweatshirts or hooded tops).
Skirt:	Plain black pleated/non-pleated of knee length (no fashion skirts).
or
Trousers:	Plain black (no denim or fashion trousers) No belts.
Socks:	Plain black.
or
Tights:	Black tights. No patterned or sheer tights.
Shoes:	Plain black school shoes (no trainers, boots or moccasins). No sports brands.
Coats:	Winter coats or anoraks – optional. Plain in colour (no denim). No gloves or scarves to be worn inside the Academy.

We have been able to source uniforms from local retailers at very competitive prices, they will be available at school events and from the Academy shop. Parents will be notified which approved retailers stock our uniforms.

We are unable to provide clothing grants but parents experiencing difficulties can contact our Education Welfare Officer. As students grow very quickly at this stage of their development we will operate a Clothing Exchange Scheme, where parents are able to sell or purchase good quality used uniforms in confidence by contacting the Academy Office.
