Grace Academy operates a ‘cashless’ system based on an Academy Smartcard. Machines that accept coins and notes to obtain credit on the card are conveniently situated throughout the building. Parents can also place credit on a student’s smartcard by sending cheques, create standing orders or by making payment by credit or debit card.

Grace Academy will ensure that your child benefits from the best possible nutrition which will assist in their learning. We will review our food offer on a regular basis to ensure that the menus reflect the very best in quality and choice. We will listen to our customers and where possible, ensure that popular choices are regularly featured on the menu.
Free School Meals
The Academy will ensure that a free school lunch is provided for eligible students by automatically crediting the Academy smartcard with Free School Meal Allowance.

We encourage all parents whose children are eligible for free school meals to contact our Education Welfare Officer. Advice, application forms and assistance in completing them is available from the Academy office. Free School meals are normally available for families receiving: Income Support, income-based Job Seeker’s Allowance, support under the Asylum Act, income-related State Pension Credit or Child Tax Credit.
